Bolivia’s Sol de Mañana (Morning Sun) is a geothermal field of intense volcanic activity, where mud boils in ferociously hot steam pools.
I visited the Sol de Mañana as part of an epic tour that set off from Uyuni, crossed high through the mountains, and ended up at the beautiful Salar de Uyuni salt flats.
Bolivia boasts some of the most dramatic landscapes and natural wonders in South America, and I hope my travels take me back there one day.
