A miniature toilet is used as a bowl for serving spaghetti bolognaise at the Poop Cafe (Ddong Cafe) in Seoul, South Korea.
Many Koreans believe that poo symbolises luck and good fortune, and in Seoul you can visit an excrement theme park (Poopoo Land), eat crap cookies on the street, and finish your day with lunch at the Poop Cafe.
I visited the Poop Cafe to celebrate my birthday. And while the food wasn’t much to shout about, the restaurant was colourful, friendly and spotlessly clean (phew!). The Poop Cafe is located at the top floor of Ssamziegil, a colorful arts and crafts shopping center located on Insadong Street.
