The smashed sunglasses of a murdered police officer are displayed as a tribute in the Shanghai Museum of Public Security.

The museum showcases the evolution of Shanghai’s various police departments since 1854.

The museum has over 1,000 exhibits, but the most interesting are found on the ‘Criminal Investigation’ floor.

Here you can see graphic photographs of brutal murder scenes, along with an excellent display of police weapons ranging from antique knives and knuckle dusters to modern machine guns.

This unusual display was one of many devoted to fallen officers, but… with the green glasses case above the sunnies, doesn’t it look like Fidel Castro?
