In the company of excellent guides, I explored the western side of Bhutan and travelled from the Thimphu to Jakar in Bumthang.
Jakar is an excellent starting point for forest and mountain hikes.
As I was there during an unexpected flurry of snowstorms, it made our epic walks challenging, exciting… and damned slippery!
