Bolivia, Parque Cretácico, Sucre

This isn’t a great photo. But what it shows is remarkable.

The grey pocks in the rock are dinosaur footprints, and are over 65 million years old.

The footprints are found in Cal Orck’o, the main attraction at Parque Cretácico near Sucre, Bolivia.

Over 5,000 footprints from at least eight different species of dinosaur are found at Cal Orck’o.

Scientists have concluded that the footprints prove the diversity of prehistoric beasts was far greater than previously thought.
