Indonesia, Komodo National Park

A pod of dolphins races past our boat as we leave Rinca island in Komodo National Park, Indonesia.

Although my eyesight isn’t great, I somehow spotted these dolphins in the distance, and the captain of our boat made a detour so we could have a closer look.

Komodo National Park is famous for its dragons, but you can also see a wealth of marine life when snorkelling around the islands.

Aside from these beautiful dolphins, my most exciting spot was an octopus swimming between coral reefs.

When it spotted me trying to get close and take a photo, it fled into the coral and changed colour to blend in with its surroundings.

It was like something from another planet!
