Every Sunday in Yoyogi Park, near the fashionable Harajuku district, members of the Tokyo Rockabilly Club meet and dance to classic rock’n’roll.
Large crowds form to watch the greasers twisting and grooving, and the club’s quiffs, leather jackets and sideburns have become famous around the world.
The Tokyo Rockabilly Club loves performing, but don’t try to join in – the rockers are fiercely protective of their gang, and only die-hard members are allowed to join the boogie.
