A statue of the Hindu legendary bird, Garuda, at Haw Par Villa, Singapore’s strangest theme park.
Haw Par Villa was founded in the 1930s, and features hundreds of statues and dioramas that bring Chinese folk tales and history to life.
But Haw Par Villa isn’t limited to Chinese weirdness. The park features stories and landmarks from across the world – from a miniature Statue of Liberty to Garuda, a key player in Hindu, Buddhist and Jain mythology.
