A young macaque looks like he’s in trouble with a bigger monkey at the world’s most famous primate party, the Lopburi Monkey Buffet Festival in Thailand.
Every November the wild macaques that live in a ruined Khmer temple are treated to a feast of fruit, candy and fizzy drinks.
The result is primate pandemonium.
Although there’s plenty of food to go around, smaller monkeys normally hang back until the biggest beasts have snatched their share.
Maybe this nervous youngster tried to get his sticky paws on the treats too soon?
