A collection of antique confetti packets – as used by revellers during New York City’s famous ticker tape parades – in Brooklyn’s most offbeat museum, the City Reliquary.
The City Reliquary traces the history of NYC’s five boroughs with exhibitions of cultural ephemera and relics.
Alongside a permanent display of New York City artefacts, the museum also hosts rotating exhibits and community collections.
The Reliquary has many oddball exhibits that help to paint a picture of life in the city, including old New York City Subway grab handles, a lightbulb from the Statue of Liberty’s torch, and a diorama recreating a traditional barbershop.
